Wendy joined Women in Sport in September 2018 as Head of Engagement and Communications. She is responsible for leading diversification of income, disseminating research and insight findings and growing awareness of the impact of the charity’s work through multi channels.
Wendy brings with her 20 years experience of fundraising and marketing in both the corporate and charity sector. She has been instrumental in transforming income in some of the UK’s best known charities including NSPCC, Crisis, Catch22, Canal & River Trust, as well as working with brands such as Google, Rolls Royce, M&S, People’s Postcode Lottery, Northern & Shell, Barclays, Tesco, Coop.
