Women in Sport is recruiting for a new Chair of Trustees.
Our current Chair, Sally Hancock, is stepping down after four years, and we are looking for a new chair to take on this critical leadership role during a time of significant opportunity for the charity.
This is a high profile public role where your visible leadership, enthusiasm and drive will help us make a huge impact by increasing the visibility of women’s sport, in the media and in everyday life.
Preferably you will be a skilled chair and strategic leader with a track record of success. Politically and commercially astute, you will be committed to working in partnership with people who work in sport. If you are passionate about raising the profile of women in sport and leading improvements to drive positive change and remove barriers in sport, we are keen to hear from you.

Fundraising Officer - £22,000
This is an exciting new role at Women in Sport and offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing charity working towards the goal of gender equality in all aspects of society.
It will suit a driven, results-focused and creative candidate who is excited by our mission and ready to contribute energy and ideas to a small team looking to achieve big things.
The role sits within the Campaigns and Engagement team and will play a key part in the development and implementation of Women in Sport’s fundraising activities, with an emphasis on creating and implementing new ideas for community fundraising and events.
It is an ideal role for someone who is looking to gain in-house fundraising experience in a fast paced and growing charity, and offers the successful candidate an opportunity to learn and practice the skills needed to forge a successful career in the charity and/or sport sector.

Senior Communications Manager - £36,000- £38,000
We are looking for an exceptional charity marcomms professional to join our rapidly expanding Campaigns and Engagement team, and significantly grow the current profile, impact and reach of our charity.
The role is responsible for the planning and delivery of all aspects of the charity’s day to day corporate communications and marketing for our fundraising initiatives and advocacy work. The Senior Communications Manager will also work closely with the Campaigns Manager on the charity’s campaigning strategy and planning to support the publication of research and our wider policy and influencing agenda. This role reports into the Director of Campaigns and Engagement and is responsible for two direct reports.
The successful candidate will have a strong charity background, be an accomplished manager and have a wide range of corporate communications experience including press, digital, and launching and implementing marketing and communications fundraising and advocacy campaigns.
We’re looking for someone who is driven, proactive and a strategic thinker, who is excited by our mission and ready to contribute energy and ideas to a small team looking to achieve big things.
