Women in Sport is recruiting for a new Chair of Trustees.

Our current Chair, Sally Hancock, is stepping down after four years, and we are looking for a new chair to take on this critical leadership role during a time of significant opportunity for the charity.

This is a high profile public role where your visible leadership, enthusiasm and drive will help us make a huge impact by increasing the visibility of women’s sport, in the media and in everyday life.

Preferably you will be a skilled chair and strategic leader with a track record of success. Politically and commercially astute, you will be committed to working in partnership with people who work in sport.  If you are passionate about raising the profile of women in sport and leading improvements to drive positive change and remove barriers in sport, we are keen to hear from you.

Head of Finance and Operations Vacancy (part time 25hours per week)

We are looking for a Head of Finance & Operations to join the team and support us in delivering our ambition. We need someone who is pro-active and keen to propose and implement change that brings efficiency to our way of thinking and working.

Reporting to the CEO, Ruth Holdaway, the role has dual responsibility for the finance and accounting function as well as the operational management of the office, infrastructure and the systems and processes that help us be an effective organisation.

Finance Officer Vacancy (Part time 21hours per week)

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join the team and support us in delivering our ambition. We need someone who is pro-active and keen to propose and implement change that brings efficiency to our way of thinking and working.

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, the role has responsibility for the bookkeeping and producing the cost centre reports and management accounts.

This is a new role and will take over all of the operational aspects of the finance function from the Head of Finance and Operations. It is a hands on role and but will have exposure to the whole organisation.
