In May 2012 Women in Sport published Changing the Game for Girls a report based on research which involved over 1500 primary and secondary girls and boys, as well their parents and teachers.
It examined the reasons why so few girls are active and importantly, sought to understand what would help them to become more active. Funding received from the Department of Health has enabled Women in Sport to work with a number of schools across England to look at ways to tackle this issue
