This three hour workshop from 1-4pm, will focus on ‘leveraging influencers and role models for the benefit of women and girls in sport’. Discussions will centre on Women in Sports ‘What Sways Women to Play Sport? (2015)’ research and explore how this can be used to change sporting behaviours locally.
The workshop will be very interactive in nature, involving individual and group tasks, while thinking about real examples. Focusing on how to activate our research and examining how to utilise the spheres of influence to have a positive impact on local programmes and products. There will also be plenty of time for delegates to network and share good practice.
Aimed at sports development professionals including but not limited to; sports development officers, County Sport Partnership staff and NGB staff.
