Race to the top: raising the bar for gender equality on sports boards

Women in Sport is teaming up with the Sport and Recreation Alliance for an exclusive event from 3:30pm- 6:30pm on Thursday 28th April at Portland Hall, University of Westminster.

Bringing our respective Women’s Sport Network and Directors’ Club together, Race to the Top: Raising the bar for gender equality on sports boards, will discuss issues of gender equality in sport leadership.

Building upon Women in Sport’s most recently published Trophy Women? No More Board Games research, this event, co-chaired by the charities’ Chief Executives Ruth Holdaway and Emma Boggis, will address issues related to the promotion and improvement of female representation on sports boards.

Hosting a fantastic panel including guests from the boards of Sport England and British Wrestling, this event also offers an opportunity to network and share best practice with others from across the sector.
