Women in Sport launches series of webinars and Q&As for the sector

April 2020

Women in Sport has launched a series of live and pre-recorded webinars that will be available via Zoom and YouTube over the coming weeks.

Specifically designed for individuals and organisations working in the sports sector, these webinars will equip participants with Women in Sport’s insight and expertise.

After each webinar, there will also be a live Twitter Q&A with a member of the Women in Sport team.

Individual live webinar tickets and multi-webinar packages are available. For more information about the individual webinar themes and to purchase tickets visit our events page

A series of three pre-recorded webinars is also available. These webinars focus on three key areas of our work: understanding teenage girls, menopause and retaining the least active women in sport.

N.B. These webinars were recorded when they were delivered live. As a result, there may be elements within the webinar relevant to the audience at the time of delivery, such as interactive components and Q&A.

In these unprecedented times, we appreciate that people affected by Covid-19 may not have the means to pay to access this content. If this applies to you and you would like access to these webinars,  please get in touch with us at support@womeninsport.org

Heather Smith, Associate Head of Innovation at Women in Sport, said: “We know this is really difficult time for everyone in the sports sector, but we also realise that this a time when lots of organisations  might be reflecting on the services they offer or exploring ways in which they can better support women and girls. These webinars provide insight and practical guidance at a critical time for everyone in sport.”
