Women in Sport’s vision is for a society where women and men have equal opportunities, and where all women and girls in the UK can access the lifelong benefits of sport.
Every year, we use our insights and expertise to provide support and advice to ensure the sport sector is able to better meet the needs of women and girls, and to inspire changes to policy, practice and attitudes that lead to greater opportunities for women and girls in sport.
In 2018 and 2019:
- We addressed gender stereotypes and broke-down barriers for almost 32,000 women and girls through programmes and partnerships.
- We challenged the culture of sport through campaigns that reached over 14 million people.
- Our Research and Advice Service became a go-to knowledge hub for the sector, receiving 31,500 unique visitors.
